Spread across fourteen acres at the foot of the Atlas mountains, Fellah Hotel is more like a village than a hotel. This luxury hotel in Marrakech, Morocco, is the labor of love of a French couple with North African roots. Their influences are eclectic which is clearly visible from the hotel’s interiors: mid modern vintage furniture pieces are combined with traditional furniture made by Moroccan craftsmen.

The beautiful villas have lovely outdoor terraces which offer stunning views of beautiful gardens and the breathtaking Atlas Mountains.

Fellah has a lot to offer: there is a extensive library, a great restaurant managed by a French chef and a pristine pool. Above all, the hotel is  also home to the Wat Po Thai School of Traditional Massage so excellent massage are guaranteed.

The earth-colored exteriors of the buildings look like outgrowths of the land itself.

For more information, rates and bookings you can visit the hotel’s website.

Surprising how austere yet luxurious it looks! Love the mud-colored walls and all the natural shades they used. You can absolutely see that this place was built thanks to determination of two very passionate people. It´s definitely not one of those anonymous design hotels that spring up like mushrooms these days, and that´s something I really like and appreciate. Great secluded place ideal for an experiental holiday. Just imagine flying over the Atlas mountains in hot air balloon!
